I have had so many questions about my recent girls weekend in Nashville! We had so much fun, and did so many great things, but I think the one thing I’ve had the most questions about was where we stayed. We were lucky enough to be hosted by The Waverly– super chic loft-style apartments in the popular 12 south neighborhood!
I remember walking in on Thursday night and having my expectations completely blown away! The Waverly Nashville really is perfect for a girls trip or a family staycation and let me tell you why!
For starters, they are so incredibly spacious. Each unit features two bedrooms and two bathrooms and have two floors.
They all have spacious kitchens and living spaces for sipping coffee, relaxing with friends or having a dance party to one of the records they supply to go along with the record players in the units! There is no shame, I will dance anywhere there is good music!
Let’s talk about amenities. The Waverly kitchens come stocked with all that you really need to feel at home. Things like quality olive oil, sea salt and fresh pepper grinders, beautiful flatware, fun serveware and dishes and so much more. I was so delighted to find not just a great coffee pot and fresh coffee, but also a Keurig and k-cups! There is nothing better than waking up to your own brewed coffee, it allowed me to keep my same routine that I have at home.
Another great feature is the toiletries! I always travel with my own, but there is nothing worse than a hotel or AirBnb that stocks super low quality soaps. The Waverly uses a brand that I actually purchase in my own home for my kids baths, I really did a little impressed eyebrow raise when I stepped into the shower! I will have to say, The Waverly actually got me into a bit of trouble with my husband and the reason is pretty funny. TOWELS. I am a total towel snob and the towels they supply at The Waverly are hands down the best towels I have ever used in my entire existence. The brand is Weezie Towels and YALL are about to be hooked on them if you dare introduce your skin to these bad boys! Sadly, I don’t have any photos of them, but just take my word for it.
It really is the little things that make a place that isn’t home feel just as wonderful.
One thing I really like about The Waverly is the location. You know how people always say “location is everything” or “location, location, location”? I get that.
The Waverly is situated above two businesses that make my heart so happy! Coffee and yoga anyone? BOX – Bongo + Bakery and Inner Light Yoga are both steps below The Waverly, literally! So if waking up to brewing your own coffee on vacation isn’t your jam, then you can walk right downstairs and grab a delicious latte OR they will deliver coffee and breakfast right to your unit! Score! I totally recommend getting a Dirty Chai, it is something that is my go to and theirs is ranked in my top three that I’ve had! I didn’t get a chance with our busy schedules to check out Inner Light Yoga but we walked by while they were having one of their classes and the music was SO FUN during this particular class, people of all levels were in the class and it looked like a blast! During my next stay at The Waverly I will absolutely be attending a class.
The Waverly is located on 10th Ave South just two blocks from my favorite are of Nashville, 12th South! This is great because you get the quiet of a residential area, with the close proximity to great food, drinks and shopping! My favorite spots are Edley’s BBQ, BarTaco and Draper James! This also means that you’re only two blocks from two very popular, Instagram worthy, colorful Nashville walls! The Blue and White stripes are my favorite and are on the side of Draper James- did you know that is Reese Witherspoon’s brand?
Weather you’re heading to The Waverly for a quiet staycation, but still wanting the comforts of home or looking for a fun getaway with friends, The Waverly has everything you can possibly need right at your fingertips OR within a couple of blocks. And I can promise you this, It will leave you completely inspired and refreshed!
