Project Nursery

I am SO excited!

Nesting has kicked in full force and caused me to FINALLY paint the nursery to the beautiful shade of white I’ve been dreaming of!

I am slowly but surely beginning to curate pieces for baby 3’s dreamy and airy nursery!

The first of the pieces to arrive were the rockers from RockABye!

I never had a rocker toy for Ada or Grey’s nurseries, and never really knew just how fun they could be! I didn’t want Grey to feel left out, so naturally, he had to have one too!

I decided on Lambkin the Lamb Rocker for the baby and went with Fossil the Dinosaur for Grey!

The rockers came late last night so before breakfast we were so excited, we just had to open them, Grey couldn’t wait to hop on and didn’t waste any time at all.

It totally blows my mind how smart kids are. He knew exactly how to get on and start rocking and in no time he found out how to play each of the four songs!

Songs, you ask? Yes! RockABye has many phases of development that go into making each one of their rockers and one of those phases includes music! There are 4 educational songs that play on each rocker! Grey can can rock his way through the ABC’s, 123’s and the colors of the rainbow! He had so much fun dancing and rocking and bopping on his dinosaur!

Anyone who knows me knows I am all about supporting US businesses. That is one HUGE thing to me that sets RockABye above the rest. The gorgeous rocker legs are made from American hardwoods like maple or cherry, and they even have the option to custom engrave a name into the leg of the rocker in color or natural engraving to make it a keepsake to cherish forever. They manufacture, hand-assemble and inspect each rocker for top quality and it is ALL done here in the US! Materials that can be trusted, a company that can be trusted- what is better?!

These sweet little rockers have gotten me SO excited for this little babe’s arrival! I was having such a hard time getting inspired with this nursery, but after feeling the soft, plush fabric and seeing how beautifully crafted these are I can’t help but be so eager to finish this nursery and build around the gorgeous Lamb that was the first keepsake to have arrived! I can’t wait to share photos of the baby’s rocker in the finished nursery once he is born to announce his name! It is engraved onto the leg, and it is the sweetest little thing I’ve seen!
