Summer is in full swing here in TN!
It is HOT! And this preggo momma has been on the hunt for all things to keep cool!
As many of my readers know, I am on a mission to create a cleaner household and lifestyle for our growing family. We eat clean for the most part, we are slowly incorporating clean household and beauty products into our everyday life, and the more research I do the more amazed I am by the clean, chemical free (or highly reduced) lifestyle! Make sure to check out the Pura site to learn all about the harmful effects of plastics and the toxins they contain- its fascinating!
So, why Pura Stainless? Aside from the incredible seal of approval from MadeSafe, Pura bottles can grow as your family grows! The tops are ALL interchangeable! So from Infant with the Natural Vent Nipple, to Toddler with the XL Sipper Spout or the silicone straw, to the Youth bottle with the Big Mouth™ Sport top all the way up to the Adult sized bottles, ALL of the tops can be switched out! SO cool! I highly recommend you pay the few extra dollars and get the Vacuum Insulated bottles… why you ask?
We recently went to the beach for a week and these were a MUST!
Our insulated beverages kept our water (without ice, I might add) FREEZING cold the entire day! We were testing the product out BIG time, so we left them all in the sun, sitting in the sand ALL DAY LONG! And guess what y’all? Still FREEZING by the end of the day! We were all being good and drinking water, but we also put some beer in one for my husband (shhh- it was vacation after all) and it stayed nice and frosty while he was busy playing with the kids! Imagine a long, hot zoo day, your water and your babes bottle of milk staying ICY the entire time! I can’t even tell you how often I pour milk out of plastic or glass bottles because they get warm on a park or zoo outing. SO much wasted milk! Imagine you get out of the car to go shop at Target and forget that bottle of milk in your SCORCHING hot car while you’re inside- guess what? It will be just as cold as when you left it!
To add to my amazement with these insulated bottles, on our drive home from FL (9 hours) I filled up my insulated bottle with crushed ice and water and only drank about half of that one. We got home late and I put it on my night stand. Two days later (I know, I know, but we’ve been busy getting back into the swing of life back home- I’m a mom, remember? Real life here) the ice was melted but that water was still SO cold! I told my husband so excitedly before bed one night. You guys, I’m seriously blown away by this company!
The other awesome thing about Pura Stainless bottles is that all of the silicone sleeves and lids (as mentioned before) are interchangeable. So if you have a toddler boy moving up to the larger bottles but are expecting a girl, you can switch out that blue sleeve for a pink sleeve, etc.
Also, Little Grey LOVES having a bottle like his big sister AND mom and dad. Yet another Win for Pura!
Speaking with the company, they are honestly, SO kind and ABSOLUTELY the type of brand I want to continue supporting and I HIGHLY suggest you all do the same!
Stay tuned for a giveaway!
