10 Bible Verses To Get You Through The Tough Mom Days

she is always there to give me inspirational advice on how to get through any storm. Her faith is so incredible and she is always uplifting my spirits and has helped teach me to turn to faith in times of need. Lately, I am SO tired. I’m growing a human and raising two other tiny minions. It’s been tough. Ada has become confident in her independence and Greyson is ALL BOY wanting to climb everything, pick up dog poop in the yard, get into every cabinet and drawer in the kitchen. I clean one mess, and they make a new one. I say “no” and Ada asks me ten more times. I give them a bath and 5 minutes later they are dirty again. I asked Jackie to help me through this time and help others moms in the same position by being todays Motivational Monday guest blogger. My beautiful souled friend came up with these 10 Bible Verses to help us all get through the tough days and even wrote why they hold meaning for her. Thank you, Jackie!

The entire bible and all it contains is profitable for every person and especially Mamas.
But I was asked by a friend to compile my personal favorite passages that help me get through long days raising up my boys in the way they should go.
1. Corinthians 12:9
But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.”  I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me.”
Gods grace in EVERY circumstance is sufficient.
When we are the weakest, Gods power is made perfect.
2. Proverbs 31:28-30
Her children rise up and call her blessed;
her husband also, and he praises her:
“Many women have done excellently,
but you surpass them all.”
Charm is deceitful, and beauty is vain,  but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised.”
Well isn’t that much different than the views of this society. Charm is deceitful ? Yes.
Beauty is passing? Duh!
I try to remind myself  of this scripture.
It’s very easy to get wrapped up in secular mentalities when living in this world.
True wisdom
true beauty
Comes from the Lord.
3. Matthew 11:28
“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.”
Doesn’t take much time being a mom to realize how hard this job is and how little sleep we get.
Rest in him, the only one who can give you true rest and peace.
4. James 1: 19-20
” My dear brothers and sisters, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry,  because human anger does not produce the righteousness that God desires.”
How often my patience is thin. My words are harsh and I am angry with the boys. Thank God I am not required to live perfectly, but only to repent and rely on Him alone.
5.Philippians 4:13
” I can do all this through him who gives me strength.”
We have hard days thats just part of life, but we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us.
6.Galatians 5:22-23
” But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,  gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law.”
7.James 4:13-17
Boasting About Tomorrow
” Come now, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we will go into such and such a town and spend a year there and trade and make a profit”— yet you do not know what tomorrow will bring. What is your life? For you are a mist that appears for a little time and then vanishes.  Instead you ought to say, “If the Lord wills, we will live and do this or that.”  As it is, you boast in your arrogance. All such boasting is evil.  So whoever knows the right thing to do and fails to do it, for him it is sin.”
Life is but a vapor or mist as the translation put it.
Do not take one single day God gives you for granted.
8. Proverbs 22:6-10
“Train up a child in the way he should go;
even when he is old he will not depart from it.”
It doesn’t mean we are guaranteed perfect little saved kiddos walking around as long as we train them in Gods ways, but this bible verse forces me to rely solely on Gods sovereignty with my children. He is a good God and his promises never fail us.
9. Psalm 127:3
“Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord, the fruit of the womb a reward.”
Not your degree or your
your bank account
the FRUIT OF THE WOMB is a reward.
10. Galatians 6:9
” And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap,
if we do not give up.”
Sometimes, usually in public my children misbehave and act out as if they haven’t been taught one thing. But all in Gods timing we will reap the benefits of our hard work as mothers.
Happy Monday friends !
